Bees bees bees.

I keep bees. I love them.

My dad's an entomologist. So was my grandfather. He made a lot of the Lyman Museum. When I was a kid he'd take me there. You could pull open these big flat drawers, two inches deep and maybe three feet square, and inside, row after row of pinned insects. There was one with just gold shelled beetles like that, every species they could find. Stunning.

And where would we be without busy bees?

There'd be no honey, flowers, wax, and Burt's Bees products that I enjoy using!!

^One of the best brands IMO. :wtg:

I've always been a fan of natural rememdies....that're really natural not fake.

I like Burt's Bees because they don't irritate my skin or are full of fragance like other products. Plus they are low in content of alcohol which means the moisture stays in better.

Bugs and insects were my first obsession. from age 3 until about 12. I *love* bugs. I never really had a problem with spiders until about 12, either. I had *all* kinds of bugs as pets. from caterpillars, to lady bugs, to a black widow named charlotte. Millipedes, and silk worms, a worm farm, even a pill bug farm made out of a huge peanutbutter container when I was three. That lasted years. probably till i was 10, as I remember.

I have never seen a lightening bug.

I agree! I'm a huge fan too.
