Glossolalia. There's just so much tongue flapping to be done when pronouncing this word, which is ironic because it means speaking in tongues. I've never had a chance to actually use this word, though.

Fling. Just because it's much more humorous to fling something out the window than to simply throw it out the window.

i like snobby words. i like "troglodyte" said snobbily as an observation by an ignorant aristocrat. especially when they roll the "r".

other snobby words i like:

"trollop". (a cheaply dressed over made up woman who also seems dirty in a way)

"tawdry" ("what a tawdry display")

i also like the word "baboon" as said as an insult to a silly person who made a majorly destructive mistake. eg "you palsied baboon!! !!"

as far as groups of words is concerned (i know that this thread is about single words and i will only post one group of words), i heard 2 old snobby ladies talking to each other once about another woman. one said "oh she's a common as muck!"

i really liked the way she said it and i repeated it in my head thousands of times.

for all my examples, you have to say them with the expression i drew below. (camera is devoid of flash).
