Does anyone listens to rap here? I'm curious.

I do, not for the lyrics but because I like way the beats sound.

there's some good rap, but im not a FAN so i can only mention some that i know i like

tribe called quest are good, pete rock is good, i like the "badassness" of das efx

If you mean rap as in one particular song, then yes, yes I do.

However if your referring to modern gangster rap, then the answer is a resounding no. Rap music glorifies everything wrong with our culture and I honestly can't figure out why it's so popular.

And in case your wondering, the one rap song I like is "White & Nerdy" by Weird Al.

I like hip-house, jungle, hardcore breaks, miami-bass and electrobass - if those count.

Only a few songs, and most of them are from Eminem. I don't have much experience with rap though, so I can't really say I hate it. I imagine there's some stuff that I like, that I've never heard yet. I tend to like some music from every genre.

The reason why I listen to rap/hip-hop is for the instrumentals itself, not the lyrics.

No offense to anyone that listens to rap, but I would rather take a 3 foot spike, drive it all the way through my skull, beat myself in the head with a hammer, saw off my feet with a plastic knife, set my b**ls on fire, gut myself, and throw myself into traffic than listen to rap.
