u need to get face book. it helps u find friends and keep in touch with them. i don't know why i have not gotten it earlier

i got a facebook against my will.
i hate it

i check it from time to time, and its fun enough being added by people i had forgotten, but it stops there.
i just get depressed from seeing them ALL pose w kids

these nt guys are so lucky to have gf's and friends who love them.

Nope and never. Everybody I know is on there, which is a good reason to avoid the place

i saw a short report on tv, about facebook, and this norwegian teen chick went "well, i dont know EVERYONE i have added, of course. to be honest, only a few hundred are friends of mine, that i really know well"

i got like 30 buddies added, and i got 3 "irl" friends.



i think what she fears is being contacted by tons of people in the first place. i have mixed feelings about it allready, as i said, its kinda fun to see people you had long since forgotten, but theres too much baggage with it.
"HEY long time no see! whats up! you were into dinosaurs, no? you must be a paleontologist by now, am i right?"
"no im a bum."

and openly refusing their friendship is... weird. so i end up adding them.

the way to add people of facebook is to message them first and wait for them to add YOU

well u r resistant to becoming more social and doing things that will help u find friends. it's your choice.

I have one and a myspace account but I don't use them anymore. No one accepts my friend invites, even my so called high school friends.

Facebook and Myspace are a waste of time if you ask me.

I got Bebo cos my best friend had it, but then every time I went on there it just made me depressed cos he always updated his profile over 9000 times a day with similar messages about his girlfriend (complicated situation, suffice it to say I am not happy), so I cancelled my account so I couldn't be tempted to look.

I can't really be bothered with social networking sites, anyway, I think they're kinda stupid.

I have one, but I don't use it very often. Gets a bit dull.

I don't have a Facebook or Myspace, I don't see the big thrill about them and I think they are exceptionally pointless, I would rather watch paint dry than get one of them!
