(Spanish has a lot of the DNA of Latin).

True about the DNA....

fabulor (I speak) > fabulo > hablo

Spanish preserves elements of the original Latin better than French, that's for sure!

That was the title of World War Two book I saw in a bookstore, about the U.S. Marines.

Semper fidelus (not sure how its spelled) being the Marine Corps motto. "Always faithful".
