I would recommend taking your bra off your body before burning it.

I don't think anyone who has naturally larger than normal breasts is going to be going without one. Or anyone who is overweight past a certain point.
In both those cases, it's too painful to not wear a bra at least 50% of the time.

I never wear one at home, but they will be all over the place if I don't wear one in public. It's pretty distracting, and I wouldn't want people to see my goods anyhow.

You're right. It's painful to walk around without one when outside. Especially running or things that involve lots of movement.

I hate bras.
I can hardly bear them.
In fact, I wear them only when I must go out.
... Or when I have just come back to my house and I know I'm going to go out again soon, because I'd be too lazy to take it off and then put it on again.
Sometimes when I go out I forget to put my bra on.
But that's not that bad because luckily I have little boobs and they don't move that much.

I'm naturally vey busty (F cup). When I was skinny I had the same cup size (my weight is within the normal range). As well as being large, the tissue is very dense (I've been told by bra fitters that they are even heavier than they look). I even wear a soft sports bra in bed. If I don't I have to hold them up with my folded arms, so don't get much sleep. Would I go braless? I'd love to, but it's not happening. I definitely would get a lot of stares, as they would move, very noticeably.

I saw this study on tv. I was like, "Yeah maybe for people with tiny boobs."

I can only go w/o a bra at home when I am doing nothing more than sitting around. Even a fast walk will cause pain after awhile.

What do you consider larger than normal? I am both overweight and I wear DD, and I go without most of the time.

Running without a bra is painful but wearing a bra too much is extremely irritating. So I only wear one when it seems necessary.

^^^

Well I know for someone like me who is technically in the underweight category but has a size F, they are quite painful if I go without wearing one for more than half a day. And don't get me started on anything than requires proper movement in terms of physical activity.

According to the article cited by the OP...

Quote:
Rouillon makes it clear that "a bouncing braless existence isn't for everyone." Rouillon cautions that his study is preliminary and that it would be "dangerous" for all women to stop wearing bras. He admits his sample size still isn't large enough to be conclusive, and since his volunteers were ages 18 to 35, he can't speak for older women. In fact, in an inadvertently uncouth way, he says, "An overweight, 45-year-old woman with three kids has no business not wearing a bra."

Yet you see them at Wal Mart every day!

I dont like regular bras either. Rarely find one that even comes close to fitting, I wore sports bras for the longest time. Although, I have very small boobs, so I probably could get away without wearing a bra quite easily.

I refuse to go braless. That's giving everyone, including other women's boyfriends and husbands, a free show. I have the decency when I wear tube tops to wear pasties at least.

Indian outfits dont require a bra as such since the blouse itself acts as a bra.
I dont think in ancient india people actually wore a bra
the blouse was designed to act as a bra......

But western outfits like Tshirts, Frocks, Skirt-Tops will look weird without a bra support

That is absolutely beautiful. :D I don't think I'd wear Western style clothing at all if I could wear something like that instead.
