non-autistic people talk about people too much
This is totally accurate but honestly now that I'm grown and married to another aspie who was raised as a boy and I a girl I am glad that girls around me "gossiped" a lot as a kid cause I was able to sort of study that and I think its part of why I am pretty good at social skills now. Like, people are mostly just complicated functions of motivation, desire, and anger. If you understand the function you can get better results than even neurotypicals who often don't bother to learn how people work cause they just look at their expressions and assume they mean what they look like.

Write a book? Not joking. I learned things that worked (and didn't), but now I want to hear your theories about WHY so I can do better!
