I seriously cannot see why people like them and get along with them.

LOL. I am a lesbian, and I can tell you, I've had experiences with men and women as friends and as lovers. I would say that, in general, I prefer women over men as friends, BUT I find that I usually get along well with men who are gay, bi, or AS.

As far as making friends, I don't have rules... I don't say, "OK, if you're gay, I will be your friend." It just so happens that I find that heterosexual NT males are generally uninteresting and too insensitive for me.

I would say I prefer female friends. I have a couple male friends, I don't go out of my way to seek them. I don't really enjoy when it is just males, I'm not into the typical male bonding activities. I like there to be at least one female. I tend to get on with a certain type of female. The females I've like can be tom boyish. Though there isn't a perquisite for that. They are feminine and even have a girly side (but are not ‘girly girls’). They are always very individual, in a genuine not put on sense.

What I don't really like is a type of militancy or resentment towards my me and my friends for no good reason. I can't be dealing with that. I realise that that everybody is a little hung up, but socialising can be difficult anyway, no need to make it harder.

Also my female friends say they don't like the average woman either. Especially complain of female bosses and colleagues. One said categorically she'd rather have a male boss. She has one now and he is quite brash but she prefers it, to the ‘bitchiness’ she has experienced. Yet they do try to befriend some women occasionally, that ones that are more unique. Even being treated badly by a man doesn’t put them off forever.

It seems we are more accommodating of our respective flaws. Then I again I don't really like typical anything, being ASD. I'm fine with just 2 or 3 friends at the moment.

I only talk to women who are a lot older than myself. I find I have nothing in common with most my age or even close to my age.

I'd generally prefer a male boss. The only bosses I've ever had real trouble with (as in their being bullies) have been females. I don't know why that would be but it has made me prefer the guys who tend to just leave me be to do my own thing instead of micro-managing me every step of the way.

I fully realise not all female bosses are that way and have had a few good female supervisors from time to time but this is a general preference. For some reason, there seems to be a real competition thing amongst women, even if it is nothing outwardly spoken of. There seems to be an innate suspicion in fact.

I don't hate women at all :0 There's a bunch I know as friends, though I wonder if it counts since we aren't adults yet.

Oh, mommy counts :3

I go to an all girls' boarding school, so I can't really HATE women...
I mean I prefer guys, for the obvious reason that there is less competition and less bitchy-ness, and recently I have accuired more male friends out of school, and definitely prefer their company.
But women are okay in general I suppose.
I hate being a girl though, I used to think I was supposed to be born a boy. Who knows?
I accept it more now, but still get bummed out about it sometimes.

no I don't hate women but the older the female gets, the less tolerance she will be of me. I still find kids to be less judgmental but even a very nice adult woman will very quickly get a hard look in her eye when interacting with me. Men are much easier to get along with.

I don't like women in general and I don't find the majority of them equally intelligent and interesting as the representatives of the male sex are. I belong to those very few female misogynists. I like looking at women - many of them are charming and cute, they wear nice dresses and fine jewellery but I look at them only for an aesthetic pleasure, thinking about them as if they were a kind of beautiful exotic birds, chirping sweetly but not very smart. I don't feel as if I was a female myself - I like the fact I'm one of them only because of all those womanish thingies - jewels and so on which are characterized by aesthetic value. I don't feel to be a person having any particular sex - I like imagining I belong to the race of androgynous creatures from another planet, looking exactly like people but having a possibility of changing sex, depending on their will.

I tolerate other women usually. I really dont understand why we are the way we are. I guess i dont really like menarche all that much, Especially that week before the 'friend' visits when i am all bloaty, and like a wild beast when it comes to food and sex... and my boobs swell up half a size....hey... wait. now that i am writing it, it sounds pretty good. If only i wasnt bloaty.

I guess it is just a rite of passage... i have been you nger and had to deal with the embarassment and awkwardness of the subject. Its just the parts i came equipped with. Even if my mind doesnt understand the female psyche to a tee. Why are there so many women out there that are just so MEAN and competitive. I like to let them know i am not a threat right out, so they can at least relax and not be so catty. damn. I could complain, but i am still glad to be female.

I don't hate women entirely or men entirely, there are nice people and evil people of both sexes.

Always hung around boys more. Maybe being simipretty, they were nicer to me for alterior reasons. Likely, knowing men, now. Women are harder to get along with. Different set of social rules. Feels more complicted. I have all of 2 female friends here. My kid told me one was 'talking about me'. So? I've probably said something about her. She has wierd hair...if she didn't want someone saying it she shouldn't dye it like that. Seems even enough to me. I'm sure that's why I don't get along with females :)
That's ok with me most days.

i don't hate women, but i find most of them extremely annoying, and sometimes infuriating. they embarrass me. although i'm heterosexual, and identify as a female, i don't identify with many females. i find most of them to be idiots.
