I ask this question because I've been visiting the Autism Research Centre, where they have online questionnaires for those of us on the spectrum to fill out. There's one that's all about hormones, and one of the questions was how old were you when you first started menstruating. I was a late starter, and am curious to see if that's common among us.

I was thirteen but it was never regular.I went on the pill at 16 and it still was irregular.At 35,I finally went off the pill and am making up for all those lost periods....bleeding every two weeks for the past 8 years.(may have something to do with thyroid or just found out I have uterine tumor and not sure how long it's been there)Sorry if that's to much info.

Late 12, early 13. I can't remember which. It hasn't been regular for quite a while, however.
