My Partner (She is more than likely ND, but there is no official diagnosis) has PCOS and it never seems to be under full control.

She had an Mirena IUD put in, which is the only thing that seems to have helped somewhat.

I was just wondering if any one else had any experiences with PCOS?

I have PCOS. What is ND? I am starting a third medication (Actos) to try to help it, the other 2 (Metformin and LoEstirn Fe) gave me side effects. For me (and many) PCOS also causes insulin resistance so I have to make sure my blood sugar doesn't get too low. I have PCOS too. I started taking birth control when I was 13 and it helped a lot. I've gone off of it for short periods of time and found that without it, my symptoms get really bad.

I haven't been diagnosed with PCOS, but I have many of the symptoms.

It has been linked to a lot of different environmental factors that are really pervasive and hard to avoid like bisphenol-A.

It can be difficult to resolve, without making a total lifestyle change. Medication doesn't cure this, it just covers up the symptoms.
