Yeah, I feel this way too, I think.

If I get off to a bad start with something, I immediately want to restart and try it over again... and this time do it properly! I'm a bit of a perfectionist. But sometimes I can't start it over and that irks me to no end.

And if I get obsessed about something... say, wanting to play a certain game or work in some art medium, I'll pursue it until I finally get it. And then, once I do, I'll no longer obsess over it anymore.

I used to obsess over incorrect information, but I've gotten used to the information bit, at least, and it was from listening to my mom's stories over and over. She loves to exaggerate and bend the truth a bit. As a kid, it always distressed me and I'd try to "correct" her and tell her so. That said, though, I genuinely did like her stories (mostly the stories from when I was too young to remember or wasn't there for haha). They were fun to listen to.... so, in the end, I just decided that no matter how incorrect they may be, I'll just be quiet and try my best to listen. And if I really really feel the need to correct her, I'll do so after the story is done, and in private.

Oh, and the sheer vast amount of misinformation on the internet also offends me. xD This forum is pretty good, but this other one I know of is chock full of bad art advice and incorrect information. Ugh.

[quote="Mdyar"]No, I meant in this context. I've found the communication here above board.[/quote

Okay, I get what you are saying now. Yes, the introverted and the gifted do tend to fall into the trap of getting too caught up in what they think you are saying, to the extent that they stop listening to what you are actually saying.
