I'm going to say that it makes almost no noticeable difference at all. In the summer I get hot, sweaty and nasty. In the winter I get cold and sometimes I can't feel my hands and feet. Either way, there's always something to complain about.

Summer, because it's the bad season around here. I hate the color of the light and how you can't do anything without feeling icky/sticky. I'm not particularly aware of how badly I've felt, however, until the first few cool days lift my mood.

When I lived in a more temperate climate the situation was reversed, and winter was the unhappy season.

I live in Kansas, and I've always heard that Florida is the worst place in the world to be a preacher, because summer is so hot that Hell doesn't scare them, and winter is so beautiful that Heaven has no attraction.

Of course, I've also heard that every body of water in Florida either has, has had, or will have an alligator....

First, I must admit that in every season there's something to be happy about. Winter, you can see snow falling, the well-known scenes putting on a soft, white coat... Christmas and New Year brings people closer, I like to spend it with my family. Seasonal food and drink, the odor of pine tree endears my soul. Imagine the majestic silence you can hear when you sit down somewhere on a mountain wintertime, far from any traffic... On the other hand, I most definitely dislike cold and the lack of daylight. They are soooo depressing. My hands and feet become cold and dry. I've already slipped down into a more anxious/depressive state...

For me, the best part of the year starts somewhere in the middle of spring, and is over before the trees have shed all their leaves. There's so much time to spend outside with hiking, cycling, mountain-biking, or simply laying in a nice warm shadow close to a beautiful lake. You don't have to wear tiresome, thick clothing, in fact, (almost) nothing when at home... Harsh sunlight doesn't bother me that much, usually I look just before my feet when walking on the street, so it's not really an issue for me. Sweat, sticky, icky feeling I don't get that much, since I take shower or plunge myself into a pond/river/lake every time I feel the need. Summer, you can do it without risking getting a cold.

Autumn brings you the most beautiful scenery nature can offer, the trees turn into so many delightful colors a rainbow is nothing in comparison.

Thank you for your very serene and postitive post OJani. :D

I'm also happiest when I am able to wear just a pair of shorts and a cap. No top, no shoes, walking, walking, walking on soft ground, looking just in front of my feet, lost in my own world, only peripherally being aware of the natural surrounds, feeling it more than seeing it. :D :D :D
