And where do you get off telling people they aren't entitled to their opinions and feelings?

Complaints will be echoed. I expressed my personal feelings, you were the one that think they were an attack.

You are on shakey grounds.

Yes. I've never found another person NT or Asperger's who likes meerkats, Lion King or Titan A.E. (NTs have never even heard of that movie) as much as I do or at all.

Titan A.E. is an excellent movie! You're so right, hardly any NTs even know what it is.

I have an official diagnosis of Aspergers, do you? So honestly you have no rights to say I should be banned. I at least know who I am. I find some of your questions disturbing, that's my right to feel that way. If you don't like it that Hale_Bopp and I feel the way we do about your questions, that's your problem.

I forgot to mintion customzing My Little Ponies (my latest "obsession). All the other custmizers out there seem to be NT and lack the intese focus and motavation that I have. There are few customizers out there and most people think it's "awful" because they don't like the thought of "taking them apart". Which you don't. You just take the exhisting paint off with nail polish remover or acetone. And lots of NT's I talk to aren't creative.

To get away from the derail...
No, I don't think there's any such thing as a "weird" obsession. The entire idea of our obsessions is that they're weird.

I'm kind of obsessed with things that lots of people think are bizarre and morbid. Interests in that vein include Victorian post-mortem photography (photos of dead people) and old cemeteries. I go hang out in old cemeteries to catalog and photograph all the tombstones and people buried there. Then it goes up on the internet to help people with their genealogy stuff.

Some of my interests are unusual, either in intensity (cats) or in quality (a 42 year old woman who likes Roger Bannister would be considered quite unusual by typical standards). I am also fascinated by history, geography and world governments. When I was in my 20s, I did extensive study of the Ukraine. I can always remember being fascinated by some part of the world and its culture.

I don't think those interests are weird. As another poster said, actually admiring or wanting to copy them might be worrying, but just as interests, no. What makes one interest 'weird' and another interest 'normal', after all?

I can't really comment on that, as I have a very strange obsession, myself.
