The Squid makes it a point to put aside at least 2-4 hours every day to have fun. At the very least, relax. We feel we would go insane if we didn't have some personal time. When it's a particularly busy week, we find our mood at work and elsewhere plummets when we don't have "Fun Time"

It just takes a certain amount of resilience and saying to yourself "I have these responsibilities and I'll try to change the situation soon enough", when you have to work 60+ hours a week. I can remember working for Sunny Valley packaging meat and throwing it on pallets about 70 hours a week, throwing around 200 lbs regularly. When I would get home I was so physically exhausted I was a zombie and all I could think of was to eat and sleep, and then I would get up, do the ole SSS routine (s*%t, shower, shave), and go right back to work. Whatever day I did get off was half sleep and hopefully some hanky panky.
