Sure, I can lie all the time if I want to!

^The above statement was a lie

Okay, that was a lie.

I am the absolute worst liar on the face of the planet. As someone else said, I can’t even lie on my resume (and I read somewhere recently that the overwhelming majority of people have actually fluffed their resume at one time or another).

I’ve told my husband that he doesn’t ever have to worry about me cheating on him, because I’d never be able to hide it!

I lie when it's neccesary, to save my own hide, but I have a hard time doing it for anything else. Not sure about white lies, but I stay reserved on alot of things.

I'm good at lying when I don't want to get caught.

I absolutely never lie!

Okay, that was a lie, now how do you think I did?

Actually, I don't lie because it would cause me way too much stress and I would only Tourettes out the truth about 15 dozen times to everybody I came in contact with after the deed.

If I did something bad, I'm pretty good at lying. I've gotten away with things quite a few times, but if it's something bad then I usually lie and feel really guilty afterwards, to a point where it's unbearable. :/

I'm a terribly bad liar. I wouldn't be able to tell a convincing lie to save my life.

...You didn't believe that, did you? ()

I can lie with the best of them but I tend to criticize others who DO lie. I like to see them completely walk themselves into a corner.

I did not copy KBABZ's joke.

I also did not inhale, and I never had sexual relations with that woman.

Ditto. Though I don't accept "lie by omission" as a valid concept. A friend of mine and fellow Trekkie disagrees with my viewpoint. He quotes Captain Picard, "A lie of omission is still a lie, Mr. Crusher!". To which I reply with a line from Mr. Spock, "It is not a lie to keep the truth to oneself"... and an ambassador outranks a captain. :P

But telling an outright lie, I can't do that effectively at all.

I wish in the past that I didn't so much with my family because sometimes they find it hard to trust me.

I'm a terrible liar. I am actually too truthful. I used to have a habit of blurting things out stupidly. I no longer do that.

I usually only lie with just one simple word "yes" when if the answer should be "no" and visa versa. Especially when I was a kid and say there were dirty boot prints over the carpet and my father glared me and shouted "did you do that ?, did you do that ?, did you do that ?" and in shear fear and terror I answer "no" because he was not one to reward honesty. But in that case it did not work because the boot prints were a dead give away and matched my boots perfectly. That makes me a very bad and unconvincing liar as well.
