Yeah, apparently the prevalence of language delay in ages 2-7 is reported to be between 2,3 to a staggering 19%

They are not all autistic.

ABC news claim that 8-15% of the 2 and 3 year olds have speech delay.

Two pages and I am surprised this has not been mentioned. A large majority of research is done by people who have a non autistic world view and most researchers do not ask for autistic input during the decision making process.
