I didn't see the video as saying that we need to stop being antisocial, I saw it as saying that, on the whole, most people need connection with someone or something, and if they can't get it with people, they'll get it with things, including drugs. I think that's true for aspies/autistics as well; it may be why we latch onto special interests, they're the thing we connect with instead of other people.
