yup, their an uneducated bunch and funding is such a a big issue.
My Gp explained that she would have to apply for funding just to get me to see somone who she said she'd had dealings with and who she didnt think should even be working because of their incompentancy in the field of child pysciatry but who would be the closest she could get me to somone who had dealings with AS in kids in my area, thankGod for her honesty.
She recommended going private but could not help me with funding it.
Funny enough the same week i went in she had another pateint come in with their mother age 21 showing much stronger symptoms of AS and very disstressed and she couldnt even refferr them, but instead got them in touch with a cognitive behavoural therapist, apparently their doing much better,but its not a diagnosis is it.
So i'm going start doing the lottery this week 
, i need this for me, you know. Theirs parts of me i need to stop beating myself up over, allow myself to be more authentic , just allowing me to be me with out guilt in a NT world.
