Alot of good ideas you mentioned to deal with boredom at home, thanks.

Can you explain if you have a dog or cat at home and did they help you be less bored at home? If so, how?

I have a big home, so none of that is necessary.
Just cleaning the floors, or carrying laundry baskets up and down four flights of stairs gives me a workout.
I'd never need a treadmill.
I don't know why people think big homes are so great.

I do yoga almost every day, and I swim for about 45 mins a few times a week at my mum's.

I've not been bored since I retired in 2011. I have enough to keep five of me busy! Unfortunately, I only have one of me...and he doesn't seem too industrious.
