So why the "pleeaaaaase" in the title? :P (or was that part of the sarcasm that I missed? )
And is it included to those extremely bright colours 8O glare-in-eyes is painful! Or maybe it's my screen  I hate scrolling to the side of the page... in fact I missed half of the first posts because of it.

Thank you and yes they do rock, people dont seem to give us the time of day because - well as i see it, with us aspies there seems to be a slight delay in what we do compared to neuro-typical people, for instance if i am asked something i take it on board analize it then reply, this takes us aspies sometime to do. When a NT is asked something - it may not be analized the same and therefore it will be answered in haste not always the correct answer will be supplied however- this might be due to the fact time apparently is precious ( could never work this one out) . So now I see it like this we never do anything wrong apart from take some time out of an NT's day so for us aspies its just the timing that may be out. does this make sense.

<grins are allowed here me thinks>.

hello all.

please could everyone help out by keeping the site "tidy", as it were. there are three main problems:

1. looooooooooooooong words in posts, which messes up the format of the page, and makes it difficult for members to read posts.

Well, "vetivert" is quite a long word, and so too is "gwynfryn" (but I had no say in this) and I find the current pages don't fit my screen; what gives?

Also, due to outside commitments any of the admins/moderators may have at any time, we may not necessarily have the time to go through all the post with the dilligence that one would expect.

Thus, if a member feels we're not addressing an issue that needs attention, please do not hesitate to PM any one of us.

Bugger, having noted that vetivert is a "moderator" here, also, I scanned further, and was about to voice my annoyance that I couldn't read Scoot's contribution without scrolling, when I noticed hes a mod too!! !!

What is this?

The Mod Olympics?

LOL, gwynfryn.

not the Mod Olympics (i shall be giggling at the images THAT conjures up for ages!). just a request for members to keep the board tidy, as people have said it's difficult to read posts when the page format goes haywire.

i don't know what the other random posts are about, though.

the "please" is because we are respectfully requesting that members do this.

as for the coloured bits - there is another thread on this somewhere (can i find it? can i heck as like). it's called "rainbow posts" or something. aha - it's here:

I do recall reading that rainbow coloured post :o
I wasn't commenting on the please in general, the fact that it had multiple letters was what i was saying... never mind I was "nit-picking" (I dunno what else to describe it as - but I don't mean that literally). aaghhh  .

Astarael
The problem with long words is when they run off the sceen. It screws up the page format.
