I find myself very interested in World War II; the German, French and British/Commonwealth sides to be more specific but i'm currently reading quite an interesting book about Operation Barbarossa.

Another thing i find myself immersed in is Fanfiction, usually South Park FanFiction but i've wrote others as well.

Last but certainly not least: Computers. I can't express how i feel about computers so i'll use 4 emoticons instead. :D :D :D

PS: SpongeBobRocksMao I envy you.

1. photography. I love taking photos. To me, it is like going on a treasure hunt. I take photos of people; landscapes, animals, flowers, fungus, insects. Then I download them to my computer and see if I found any gems. I especially like the photos of people interacting with eachother and capturing a momemt wehre they connect with eachother( something that I rarely do with people(Maybe that is why I find it so facinating)
2. gardening and indentifying different varieties of flowers plants, and trees.
3. organizing. I am continiously organizing and cleaning and puttin away things, and reorganizing them. When I was at a 4th of July party at a friends, everything was so chaotic, and all I wanted to do is straighten up everything, pick up the trash, get things in an order instead of me being able to enjoy the fireworks($700 +) that they bought. ( It was also the first day that I started my Adderall XR 15mg. )
4. raising my pets and learning everything about them that I can. I love pets. I connect better with them than I do with fellow humans. I currently have one rat terrior, 3 rats, 3 cats, and several aquariums of assorted fish.
5. researching things on the internet.

I love Cajun culture because it shows culture fusion so clearly. I ate some old-fashioned Acadian food when I was in Cheticamp a few years back. You can pretty much taste the Cajun roots without the spices.

That and the music! The accordions did some wild things when they hit Louisiana.

I went down to Louisiana last summer and had authentic Cajun food. It was amazing!! ! :D I also heard Cajun French for the first time, the chef at the restaurant was Cajun. I am currently learning Cajun French, it's one of the most beautiful languages I have ever heard. :)

FrogGirl, we have the same special interests! 8O Maybe you're my double? :o

Except I also have making sushi as a special interest, and I photograph in shabby-romantic/soul-filled/green places only, and I like taking candid photographs of different kinds of ethnic/religious people. And organizing the itineraries of my Photo tours is my strongest obsession.

Kurt Cobain and Nirvana.
The city of Seattle and its history.
Words and their origins.
Obscure languages.
All things occult and paranormal, especially afterlife beliefs.
All things medical. Especially anatomy. I have a soft spot for body parts named after their discoverers: sphincter of Oddi, Meckel's diverticulum, Muller's ducts. And all the different kinds of cancers. (I work in a pathology lab, and I'm training in a new aspect of my job that involves oncology, and this is the most fun part of it, and yes, I know exactly how sick and wrong it sounds for me to be using the word 'fun' there.)
Writing, collage, zines and DIY culture.
Right now, adverts in women's magazines from the 1920s to the 1960s. (Enough to make any woman very glad to live in the 2000s, lemme tell ya.)
And, further to that, feminism, body image, the Fat Acceptance movement, the history of contraception, medical moral panics in general....fun stuff!

I've posted this before but why not post it again?

1)AS

2)Ballet

3)drawing super heroes

4)This one is hard to explain becasue it's more of a stim than an interest. I am always counting the number of sylables somebody says in a sentence and using that number to draw shapes in my head. For example if somebody says 8 sylable, I'l draw an octagon or two squares in my head. Also, I draw imaginary shapes on walls and other surfaces. It's like playing connect the dots.

Those are the most prominent. I've been obsessed with ballet for about 8 years and I've been obsessed with drawing off and on, my entire life.
