Dead end

Cognitive behavioral therapy

Weird implications

"He hurt you!", As though it is unusual for anyone to "hurt" anyone

Mandated reporter obsession

Bad advice

Counselors making every slightest thing a catastrophe

"Huh" and "what"

Rhetorical question

Condescending compliments

Vague statements "you have a right to respect"

People make fun of the president and he can't stop them.

What is "respect"?

Some precious lil "people" say "respect" is being treated the way you want to be treated.

Ambiguous

Slippery slope

Conceptual slippage

Trump "likes" to be treated like a  dictator

Doesn't mean that if he doesn't get treated like a dictator, someone violated his stupidass "rights"

With my limited experience, the biggest obstacle for therapists was probably my alexythymia and my own lack of awareness of it. I knew I was suffering, I knew my emotions were freaking out, but I had no idea what they were and I used random names for them.
That of course made most therapist completely misinterpret me, sometimes to disastrous outcomes.
The helpful one is training me in identifying what I feel. Apparently, alexythymia can be (at least partially) treated.

Other Aspies may have different challenges. I guess the main problem is communication. Autism impairs nonverbal communication and therapists lacking awareness of it easily misinterpret their patient and choose wrong directions in treatment.

Cognitive behavioral therapy, two years, did not give me any coping mechanism

Just indulgent smoke and mirrors

Don't take it personally
Globalization
Meditation

Are correct but heard of them before

The most "helpful" thing counselor Jeanne Courtney said was "excuse me", instead of "what" and "huh"

She acted so confident

In her defense I had no goals, long term, cumulative

 confidence not proportional to competence

f**k Jeanne Courtney

For 75 bucks an hour that b***h didn't tell me a single original statement

While I told her plenty of original statements

But whatever, the insurance paid

On the other hand, autism based therapy might not have "helped" either

But whatever even if that b***h were to have told me the perfect statements, then what?

"Actions speak louder than words"

And then if the next day, I got expelled, terminated, divorced, raped, shot with a gun. Jeannes perfect didjeridoo concerto would not "help"

The Access line (insurance) told me the email for a new counselor

Emailed and asked if, if I email questions, she would email the answers

b***h told me she "would prefer" phone

Emailed her about statements other counselors had the nerve to tell me and asked what her response was

Counselor Judy Jones could not even be bothered to answer

What kind of counselor refuses to email?

Email is more official than a phone call, b***h

Actually, a phone call is more official and personal than email.

What kind of therapist refuses to email? A therapist who knows that email is not HIPAA compliant. A therapist who thinks that a phone call is more personal and direct and shows greater personal concern.

Do people go to guitar lessons, refuse to practice between lessons and then get angry at the teacher for not doing a good job?

Why do you think that "autism based therapy might not have "helped" either?
