I used to be able so well, and then I just forgot how. It's really weird, I can't do it anymore.

i dont think you need a syndrome, to have trouble with rolling R's :S

its like not being able to make those african clicks or whatever.

a girl i know is a linguistic expert, except she cant roll the R's. in norway theyve been studying the spread of that "french R", and how people of mid-northern norway (me! YAY!! !) are not going to adopt the "french R" (YESS!! !) because it doesnt "match" our linguistic formulae, if you will. in return, there's a semi-palatal L that we make, that the southerners cant make.

some cultures can make some sounds easyer than others.
