Definitely cats. I feel a kinship to cats.

I like both, but I definitely love cats more. I'm definitely a cat person. I can see myself in my cats' behavior in many ways, so I can relate to them better.

I am a cat guy, I love cats independence and I like how they have such different personalities no two cats are the same.

I love how most of the cats I meet will let me pet them, if they don't I just take it that they are kind of like me and don't like to be held or touched.

I know a bunch of cats that love attention as well, they will waltz right up to you and bump their head on you and purr and meow until you pet them or hold them. These cats always love attention and prefer it if you gave them a lot of love, you could say they are demanding of attention at times, like when they stand in front of whatever your doing or try and climb up your leg.

This isn't to say I dislike dogs because I like cats, I actually want to get a dog at some point when I'm in a set up that allows for one.
