wash dishes/utensils, or lick them clean routinely?

I do re-use cups, after rinsing them, but I put them on the counter, which signifies that they're dirty, instead of back in the cabinet because I'm not the only one who lives here and I don't want to pass on any germs I might have.

I wash, but not neccesarily very good. When I first started dating my wife I washed the dishes and she said I did a horrible job.

It's a matter of technique. The idea is to do a water-poor job of washing. You don't have to drink the water before you wet the dishes with it! :D
