I like riding buses and trains.

In Portland, there is light rail and sometimes I encounter packed trains!
It is very annoying and induces people to wait for the next train.

Make me board a bus and you will find me somewhere in Portland!

Shame people here don't fight to sit forward. :(

That sounds like fun to watch.

yeah, people here can be quite aggressive about getting the seats they want; they really push and shove. It probably is funny to watch....unfortunately, I´m usually in there, stuck in the crowd, so I´m living it....which is not fun, as then they push and shove me, which I really hate. I kind of have space/touch issues.

I'm fine with the transport.
It's the public I have issues with.

There's always some annoying git doing something to spoil your journey - even if it's only wearing outrageous amounts of pungent, suffocating perfume (don't get me started on perfume).
If it's not that, then it's repetitive coughing or loud, aggressive sniffing, or murmuring or hummming or swaying or having a weird accent - or just smelling bad.

Someone once said 'Hell is other people'.
They don't know how right they were.

People should be vetted before being allowed on PT.
Sorry sir, you're smelly - I'm afraid you'll have to walk today.

I'm very happy on a bus :) Well, old, comfortable buses at least (hate the newer ones).

I used to get very anxious when I first went on them on my own though. Didn't last long.

I'm okay on trains, but I panic a bit about getting on the right one and catching it on time.

I've only been on a subway once - the Paris Metro - but I was with a school group and was very tired so I don't remember much except following the teacher.

dear Lioness, I tend to travel via Buses for the most part as, it's cheap and very easy to get to where I need to go here and there.Taxi's I've used on occasion but, that tends to be during the evening hours and so forth. There is no train available to me in my area of the world however, the last means of transportation for me tends to be walking on foot, often 6blocks to get to and from the library(where I'm currently at). This is not bad for, it helps me get some exercise and also allows me to see the world without being in an uncomfortable situation or so forth as, I could possibly elaborate in the following manner. Since I no longer drive a car, I've found it a tabit less anxiety in my life for, during the time I was driving it was scary just trying to navigate through traffic that seemed to appear to be like something out of a foreign land, i.e no sense of driving laws being followed. Therefore, I'm glad to be able to do somethings without that chaos, but yes I do miss driving though.. In conclusion regardless of transporation hopefully all of us are able to go from point A to point B with little or no troubles..

My college has a tram system, and during peak hours, be prepared to stand in the aisles.

I get stressed on public transport as well.
I dont mind going on a bus at all its just the twats (or chavs as we call them in the UK) that play there crappy music on there phones, drinking there dirty cider and just being a nusence. So i normally sit downstairs if i can.
I also hate talking on my phone, if i get a call i wont answer it.
Just dont like having stranger hearing me talking for some reason. But if im in a group or there is no one near me it dosnt bother me.
