I just realised that I only have obsessive interests; I can't be passively interested in anything so it would seem. Of course some of these interests are temporary and some are lifelong (i.e. Maths and Music for me). As an example, a couple of weeks ago I read one 'Jeeves' novel by Wodehouse and then I had to go aout and get the rest and I have read all 17 now in the past two or three weeks. I am now starting to watch the TV series of it on youtube. I realise that this is probably only one of my temporary interests, partly as, apart from anything else, I have pretty much exhausted it. As another example, I just got a rubik's cube yesterday and have pretty much been practicing on and off all day today; probably about 4 hours in total.
