I don't know too much about Autism to be honest, and am only recently diagnosed. I am trying to fit the puzzle pieces of my past together, to match up with my diagnosis, and so far everything fits and has been really eye opening.

One of my odd little traits is an extreme honesty. I have read on several pages this is common in aspies.

Do you think so? does it describe you?

why do you think this is?

Yes.
Poor theory of mind, not in tune with other peoples thoughts and motives.
Not socially manipulative and a preference for using language to communicate facts.

I am honest in that i have a difficult time telling lies ethically, and I'm just bad at it. I prefer the truth. I am straight forward and say too much truth often. And it results in hurt feelings.

On the other hand, I often hide parts of my life from others, especially strangers or people I don't like. They may not be aware of big events or facts about my life. I hide these things because I don't want to talk about them with that person.
