Vancouver/BC Asperger's meetups

There are a couple people interested in starting an organized meetup group,
for socializing and support here in Vancouver. (It would be meeting for coffee, activities
like movies or hikes and such, without the stress of having to worry about all the social problems that stress Aspies out... because
the rule would be that we respect each others individual differences.)
If you are interested, PM or email me, and if you know Aspies who are in this area tell them about it too.
I haven't heard of any adult groups meeting here yet, if there is one out there, please say so.

Theres around 14 or so interested in a group now, and the first meeting will be in a couple weeks.
Theres now a group on facebook called "Vancouver Asperger's Syndrome Network".
If you don't like facebook (and I dont really like facebook but its the easiest way!) make a fake profile and join
to discuss where the meeting place will be.

Sooooooooooo... an UPDATE.
There *IS* a Facebook Vancouver Asperger's Group,
with over 20 people,
however I never organized a meeting myself because at the time I wanted
to form the group, a lot of crap started happening in my life, and I became
more depressed and intimidated at the thought of meeting lots of new people.
BUT If someone else wants to be an admin, and help run the group and schedule
meetings, that would be GREAT, please contact me if you are interested, because
I think there are a lot of people in the Vancouver area that would be interested in
attending a group, its just that nobody has come forward to do the organizational
dirty work of actually putting it together.

There is also an Asperger's coffee chat group at broadway and commercial.
They meet once a month at a scheduled time. Info on that is on facebook group too.
