Do you hate waiting for people, in a queue or for a response? And does this inpatience trigger anger, irritability ie noises intrusion etc. And/or violence?

Yes, but I've learned to wait. I can appear so patient it's scary (seriously, it can make people uncomfortable when they get insight into my strategic planning), but the tension between this and my urgent need for completion can be very hard.

That sounds really pretentious. It can be almost a self-sacrifice thing, almost self-abuse: the waiting hurts, but I wait.

I hate being ignored and I hate slackers. I don't mind waiting in line. When my husband keeps me waiting, I get bitchy and I shake him when he doesn't answer.

I think of myself as very patient. I can wait for things. I just think to myself, there is only one more hour of sitting here. It's just time. Time will pass by. Then I think of how this relates to things I'm interested in, or just go off into my own thoughts. It's pretty easy. But it's harder if I'm in the middle of people and have to be alert the whole time.

For other things I can be the opposite though. If I obsess over an item I will get in a few days or going somewhere it appears I've very impatient.

I've become an impatient person when I'm on the computer. If I know someone is waiting for me to do something, I get impatient with myself.
