So autism specialist said he has some assesments for me and wants me to take vineland 2 test.

What are these like? I really hate personal questions ex. What makes you happy, sad, scared, Tell me about you and you're relationshis with freinds and family ect.
Are there any like that?

I had the Vineland. It can help diagnose ASD's and also even tell you whether your disability is mild, moderate or severe.

It's a series of questions asked to your family, friends and to you. It might take 2-4 hours just for you to be interviewed. You're asked all sorts of questions about the way you function socially and how you take care of yourself.

Scores on the Vineland are often used to qualify for special services, so be very honest in your responses.

BTW, it doesn't ask what makes you happy, scared, etc. The Vineland II is just to assess how well you adapt to the community.

I know this is an old thread but I've been curious. Is the Vineland 2 specifically designed to assess adult levels of functioning?
