Ever feel like no matter what you say or how hard you try to fit into a group, you just come off sounding like a stupid babbeling idiot and wished that you either just kept your mouth shut or you didn't even bother with the whole thing.

Tis human nature to try and regret in hindsight I wish I could eradicate the need for others from myself but I must try such as a starving animal will continue to survive. I myself am a scholar by nature research and study are my ways of trying to subvert the need for others.

music helps me calm and venture out into this crooked sphere we call earth.

I guess the only option then would be to find a group of people who would not care about such mistakes. Even then, it is still a major strain.

Have you heard half the crap that most people come out with? :P Seriously, most people don't actually listen to most of what the others say; they are usually planning their own next sentence. Even if you did say some stupid things, nobody's really going to remember much the next day.

Fair play to you for joining in the converstation at least; it will get easier and eventually you won't feel like analysing everything afterwards.

Famous quote, I believe it was Mark Twain:

"'Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt"

But I think only a fool would believe it. It's been my experience that most people aren't really paying attention, and often don't even let you finish expressing a thought before finishing it for you.

However, every so often you meet someone who is genuinely interested in hearing what you have to say, and you find yourself engaged in a genuine reciprocal exchange of ideas and passions. Often this person is a complete stranger, who you met by accident and will probably never see again.

I like to think of them as guardian angels. The best you can do is be a guardian angel, be the co-creator of that shared magical moment.

Well, at least you can be yourself here. There's usually somewhere on the internet you can find people who won't mind you going on and on about something.. I think that's the entire purpose of blogging, too. To go on and on about an obsession, and not have people pissed at you for it.

Do you know how insanely many hours I've spend in the Isle of Wyrms on SL obsessing about cookies?
