Hello :)

Sorry if my feedback is a little delayed, I just found this site about 24 hours ago.

Your cartoon is great, I loved it! I think you have a real talent, you should give your little characters a chance to conquer the world, starting with your city. In other words I think if you have ideas, your cartoon could easily become a weekly cartoon in a newspaper, it is very well done, funny and informative at the same time, I am pretty sure a lot of people would like it.

Good luck to you.

Shadi

That actually managed to cheer me up a bit... heh. :)

...Also managed to depress me quite a bit, in regards to one part, but mostly cheered me up.

I'm also self-diagnosed, so far... I'm certain I have it, by now. I ended up finding this forum after I was searching for other people who feel that they have ended up on the wrong planet.

...just add one more frame explaining that people with Aspergers are not all alike- even among aspies we still feel like we're from another planet sometimes!

Greenturtle,

Please tell me you are going to have this made into a little booklet and publish it?! Seriously, this would be so helpful. SO helpful. I'm sure Jessica Kingsley in Philly would publish it! If you do, please let us all know. I've been having a real time of it trying to explain AS to an employer and a few friends and family. I can't expect them to read an entire book just to figure out what's "wrong" (right in my book!) with me. But a little booklet with these cartoons...holy moly! I'd buy at least 10 right now! :D

b.

Greenturtle, this was hugely helpful to my aspie son to understand himself!! ! And to know that he is not alone. In the waiting rooms of every therapist, there are pamphlets about ADHD. A pamphlet of your cartoons would be perfect for the AS patients. Maybe I'll see who publishes those pamphlets and you could see if they'd use your stuff. My son hates himself, but you've helped him move toward acceptance.

Obviously, for kids you'd have to change the "wtf" bubble.

Please consider this!!

Just say it stands for Wack The Frog, and draw a frog and a sledgehammer.

Thank you, BN1111 and aann. It is available as a book through lulu.com.

I have some interest from a publisher and am waiting to hear about it.
