Crowds, crowds, crowds.

To be frank I'd rather listen to Hannah Montana for 24 hours nonstop than be stuck in a crowd full of screaming kids in prams, chavs talking on their phones and sweaty fat fortysomethings.

I'd rather watch JONAS then seeing all of that.

No, not at all, I can't stand walking along the pavement with people coming towards me either (especially if they are 2 or 3 abreast) I cannot see any pattern to movements, it's just a random insane noise to me, there is no perceivable body-language there (although there seemingly is to others I am told, I just don't see it?!)

I get incredibly upset if people block isles with their trolleys or block me in completely that makes me panic, then as you get more upset more senses amp up, smell gets even worse (and shops stink as it is with the chemical cleaners and fake room odorisers) colours become brighter, I can't think and then I get more and more awkward and clumsy!!

I have to go to the shops every day, I have no choice it's that or starve, but it never gets any easier....

2 way I cope:

1. I always have headphones with music, that at least cuts down on 1 sense overloading, I sometimes were sunglasses too as this cuts the colours out and I feel safer peeping at people from behind them.

2. I go very late when there are less people about.

i sort on enjoy it. it's fascinating seeing all the different people. sometimes i kept this feeling like i want to shout though. and sort of scream in my head and stim. i might also get a slight headache, but it's very slight.

LOL!!

How about Tiny Tim? I still think I'd pick Tim over crowds.

Warning though, if you don't know who he is, his voice is very shrill. It may bother you if you're sensitive.

It really depends on the type of crowd;, if it's a crowd such as one in a store, I can usually handle them fine. If its crowds where I'm forced to interact with others(like school) then it's trouble.
