No wonder so many female Aspies have anorexia.

That didn't happen for me, either.

That is *so* perfect! How wonderful when somebody says for me the things I couldn't express myself.

And yet some of you didn't respond that way. I wish I knew why, it might give me a light to steer by.

But *thank you!* for posting that!

Oh man. That's so beautiful.

I don't have anorexia, never did. I like ice cream too much, hehe. But I did have a lot of the issues that in some can cause anorexia. I was revolted by the idea of becoming a woman, and hated that I was developing body fat and breasts. I felt I'd been reduced to just a baby machine.

I was diagnosed with anorexia in 2007. I was surprised at the diagnoses. But I don't but it. I have an eating disorder but not anorexia. Even my husband thinks I had it.

This however describes my girlfriend very well... She was diagnosed and also she suffered anorexia (undiagnosed due to pressure) just last year. :(

It was such a scary experience just to see her go through the pain and i've just realised how she must of felt.

She was a very intelligent girl, she was very good with spelling and everything, memorized alot of words in the dictionary (which she always corrects me  ) but yea she was anorexia because she wanted to be accepted for who she is and she wanted to get away from her difficult past as much as I did but she done it the extreme way.

I never knew at first but now it seams so clear to me now... It really does.

Thank you so much for the poem, it has managed to get through my mind. :)

Wow, that poem really resonated. Substitute The Cranberries for Blondie, and that's my teen-age years. Thanks for posting it.

@ mechanicalgirl39 and Claradoon:

I feel the way you do about being a woman, very much indeed. I hate having breasts and a woman's shape. I find my breasts revolting, like a cow's udder. The fact that they are sensitive and sexual revolts me even more.

I hate the fact that people look at me and see woman.
