My first taste of beer was at about 15, but I quickly spit it out because I thought it tasted so terrible.

My next was at 24, and knowing nothing about how to drink, it was a can of cheap malt liquor poured over ice.

My worst was a couple of years later when I chugged the remainder from an open can someone had used as an ashtray.

I remember my first beer at a friend's 18th birthday party.

It tasted vile.

I have no plans to try a second beer to validate this opinion.

Thats not so bad. I chew tobacco and used to spit into coke bottles. One night I was drinking whiskey & coke and went to take a swig of Coke..........guess what? It was nothing but Copenhagen spit. Lovely. Never puked so hard in my life.

Personally, for some reason when I turned 21, the appeal of drinking just sort of...died away.

*shrugs*

Maybe subconsciously it was only "fun" because we were breaking the law and getting away with it?

Or maybe it was that one time when I puked and realized that drinking wasn't all that much fun to begin with :x

No, because I don't drink. I'm of age; I'm 22. I just have no desire to drink. It's not that I have anything against drinking. I just can vividly remember the vile taste from when my mother would let me try a sip in childhood. Plus, alcoholism runs rampant in my family. So, I probably never will have my first beer or first alcoholic beverage of any kind, for that matter.

first beer, on my 22nd birthday. It was terrible. Yellow beer. Awful.

However, a few years ago I discovered ales, stouts, and almighty Guinness. I love me some dark beer.

Exactly what I thought the first time. My sister snuck one out of my grandfather's fridge and we sat in the back yard and split it. I think I was 10 or 11. We did that with one of my mom's cigarettes once too around the same time LOL.

I remember when I was a child of probably 6 or 7 drinking some of what I assumed to be apple juice, and being repulsed. Now I love beer, though I try not to drink much these days due to my trying to be a good student and being pretty poor.

I recall having my first beer when I was I think 19. We were staying at a hotel room, and while my Mother wasn't looking, my Dad decided to give me a sip of his Miller Light, and I've been looking forward to it since. I even have a 12 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon light in the fridge.

I first tasted it when I was about 10 years old. I thought it was rather disgusting at the time.

First beer was a day after my 21st birthday. It was a Guinness in Elkins, WV.

I can't remember. I was probably an infant, considering my parents at the time.

Oh, and I love dark beers. Guinness is soooo yummy. I keep wanting it for breakfast lately.

I don't remember, it would have been when I was really young (I was always allowed sips of alcoholic drinks, and over the past few years I've been allowed proper drinks).

I remember my first cocktail (and the ones after it), last year on holiday in Turkey. I remember my first vodka as well (my dad was drinking straight vodka and I was like, "I can't believe you drink it straight, isn't that supposed to be minging? Here, let me try!" so I did, and yes it did taste rather odd, so I put juice in it and it tasted nice).
