Is there anyone in the Waterloo region who would like to start up a group? I want to meet other aspies, but there is no local group where I am, and the nearest one is Oakville, which is just too far away.

I am studying at the University of Waterloo. Not sure if you'll read this post though.

I had relatives in Waterloo, NY. This was back in the fifties. My dad's sister, her husband who was Norwegian, and their five daughters who were of course my cousins. My grandmother lived up there with them for a while also. I spent many happy times in Waterloo. In fact, one of my cousins, the oldest daughter, still lives there. One of our trips up there was to go to her wedding and that was in the early fifties. I also had an uncle, my dad's brother, who lived in nearby Phelps and had a movie theater, a dry cleaner's, and a sporting good's store in that area. It's a beautiful region of the country.
