I am a church organist---so therefore I have loved organs since I was a child. I currently have 3 Hammond console organs. But I have always loved the old theatre pipe organs such as the Wurlitzers. There have been several electronic organs that mimic the theatre pipe organs. These theatre electronic organs fascinate me. The one that most fascinates me is the 1970s Wurlitzer 950 TA pictured below. A choir teacher I know contacted me yesterday offering to sell me her Wurlitzer 950 TA. I thought I would never see one of these for real---and figured if I ever wanted one I would have to search for one---and here one comes to me without me asking. I am looking at it tomorrow morning.

I think I just fell in love with Lego... I got the idea from this thread or some other. I just got my first two general sets, but I immediately felt limited by the lack of certain parts. So I went nuts on eBay and bought several thousand of used Lego blocks  I can't wait to start sorting them out

Here are my first few creations, mind you I haven't touched blocks/bricks since childhood, 30+ years. I had a blast today:

Still obsessed with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. But my latest special interest is the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Well...I have decided against the Wurlitzer organ I posted about in an earlier post. Oh...it was a beautiful organ. But there was some noise in the speakers, and some notes cut out occasionally. It is a transistor organ from the 1970s---and they are notorious for problems. So I remain incredibly happy with the 3 Hammond organs I own---the Hammond sound in my opinion is very hard to beat. Here is a picture of the Hammond A102 model like the one I have in my home that I use the most (it was made in 1961).

Right now it's Batman: The Brave and The Bold. I only have the first 24 episodes on DVD and plan to purchase more in the future.
