It seems I hear everything.....whether this is adhd or not, I am not clear on...sooooo.

It seems that I have been attracted towards the 10pm-5am timeslot for my best time. I am 30 ish now, so I can be sure that this time slot is my favourite.
Taking any stress issues or brain overload (too much thinking) issues out of the equation. I always like the timeslot above.

Co-incidentally, it is the time when there is no traffic, no family members awake etc (apart from me)

So, does low environmental disturbance always lead to much better mental consistency/focus for you or do you feel it may strictly time related or you really don't know either way?

I don't know why, but I tend to fall in this category as well.

I loved working those hours. The stores are deserted too. Made grocery shopping much more relaxing. It was a different world.

Unfortunately, the place I worked at, at that time, was the noisiest ever. They'd run a gasoline powered floor buffer (indoors) up and down the aisles. Ugh. I was supposed to be debugging circuit boards but couldn't think straight enough to spell my name with the noise and fumes. That job didn't last too long.

I like doing things when I seem to have the world to myself, too. Sights and sounds can be extremely distracting for me.

Noise or for that matter any kind of sensory stimulus is extremely distracting for me. When the office has been chaotic during the day it sometimes drives me literally dizzy.
