Nice. You guys really suck as Aspies

Oh I have two kids and in a relationship with a great lady and I am not meek or mild

Aspie = FAIL

I can usually get two people to start arguing or get a group of people to hate someone. I can take advantage of people's politcal correctness, religious faiths, racism, homophobia, wanting to belong to the group, people feeling sorry for me, and stupidity. People have a tendancy to believe what I say about other people for some reason. People tell me stuff all the time also, they cannot wait to dish dirt about someone else. I am just willing to repeat what other people tell in front of someone or to snitch someone out when the time is right. I believe its a survival trait I picked up in school to draw attention away from me. For instance I am really good at changing the lyrics of songs so they can be used to insult or harrass someone. I did this a lot at my last job since my co-workers loved to sing them to aggravate someone who has pissed me off. All I had to do was write down the lyrics and hand them out to my co-workers and they would gleefully sing the song and harrass my opponent all day for me.

Some people thought computers were beyond me but, I managed to acquire certification in the area of troubleshooting & tech support including internet security management..

I flunked out of college. Then went back a decade later and got straight A's.
I suck at math, but forced myself to become a mathematician anyway.
I have planned out every possible task for the next year.
I once had a roommate who stayed more than a semester.
I have written more comic-books than I have read.
People like listening to the sound of my voice.
I went an entire day without stimming once. AN ENTIRE DAY!

Aspie=Fail

I can play guitar, and I can sing.

Well enough that I was in a creative arts college majoring in vocals, and minoring in guitar.

Aspie=Fail

So doing creative things disqualifies aspies, huh? If so, I'd like to add a couple more things:

I'm an English major.

I'm good at writing, and started out as a creative writing major.

Unrelated: I've been known to like some sports.

Aspie=fail, again.

I am a member of 5 amateur radio clubs, and on several committies for one of those, and regularly attend all the meetings for those. This is in addition to the events I volunteer at, the disaster response team I am on...

Aspie = FAIL

I have the best sense of humour of anyone I know. When I get going, I can make almost anybody cry with laughter. I've been told many times to be a stand up comedian. My sarcasm, jokes, and blunt humour are famous amongst those who know me well.

Aspie = Fail

When I had a miscarriage, I grieved and was upset.


Aspie=Fail.

I work at a fast-food restaurant as a drive-through cashier. Have been there since last September with no signs of trouble.

I have a good sense of humor.

I can read people's emotions and intentions pretty well.

I have a good imagination.

People open up to me about their problems and I can usually give them decent advice.

I have a boyfriend.

Most of the jobs I have held have involved interacting with people, and I actually enjoy that aspect.

1. I don't get the point of this thread. Aspie = PASS.
2. I'm not good with the opposite sex. Aspie = PASS.
3. I am good with computers. Aspie = PASS.
4. I'm good at math. Aspie = PASS.
5. I suck at music and art. Aspie = PASS.
6. I never smile. Aspie = PASS.
7. I do OK with public speaking. Aspie = FAIL.
8. I tolerate crowds. Aspie = FAIL.
9. I can't stand noise. Aspie = PASS.
10. I make jokes that nobody gets but me. Aspie= PASS.
11. I don't have many friends. Aspie = PASS.
12. I live alone. Aspie = PASS.
13. I was talking by the age of two. Aspie = PASS.
14. I can drive cars and fly aircraft. Aspie = FAIL.
15. I have trouble getting and keeping jobs. Aspie = PASS.

Except for a few items, I seem to fit the aspie stereotype pretty well.

I'm a decent public speaker

I got my drivers liscence at 15
Aspie = fail

I'm always the person at parties who makes people get up and dance
Aspie = fail

Have given presentations
Performed in play and given puppet shows
Good sense of humor
Like driving across country
Like to snowboard
Can throw a ball and catch
Don't think about math
Not into video games

Aspie = fail

I have been in plays and stage shows
Aspie = fail

I know how to look less scruffy than my NT female counterparts
Aspie = fail

I have a loud voice
Aspie = fail

I go to a gym
Aspie = fail

I got along with the "cool" kids better than some of my nerdy NT friends
Aspie = fail

I completed a university education
Aspie = Don't know?

I've got more aspie = success stories though
