I was trying to watch the World Cup (soccer) today on tv and I had to mute the volume as I could hear a noise that I can only describe as a swarm of bees. It was not my tv because I tried watching it on another tv.....did anyone else hear this?
I tend to be hyper sensitive to sound and smell.

I was watching the World Cup today, and I think that it was the sound of the crowd cheering.

I'm so hypersensitive to Sports and sport fans that my doctor recommends I avoid all sports programs.

Yeah, sound could have been the crowds or maybe it was an invading swarm of killer bees. I hope the bees. :)

Maybe so but it seemed to be a constant noise and it just sounded like bees to me. My 7 year old Aspie thought it was funny but he said he thought it sounded like bees too.

It's the noise coming from the instruments played. I saw it on the news. Some sort of trumpet fans are playing almost constantly.

We can all dream...

One thing I may never understand is why people get paid millions to kick a football around for hours, whereas those in the army (although they get a good Army Pension) get barely enough to buy a house... :?

The army doesn't bring home slaves and plunder like it used to do in the good old days

I don't get the appeal of football at all. It baffles mr why people get so excited about it. Perhaps it appeals to some primitive instinct, as it's supposed to be simulated tribal war. Then why do I not have such an instinct?

Yeah, I was shopping in the city today and people kept sounding those horns for no reason. Can't stand them.

I thought that way for a long while. There is that, and a lot of it, but as well it's a very interesting game tactically, usually fast moving, and an opportunity to watch very skilled people at work. Play. Thingy. :)

My friend had me go to a hockey game with him once and people kept blowing them...a few of them were blown right in my ear :x

Talk about overload, I seriously wanted to go to sleep right then and there.
