AS is a very expensive disease, costing society millions of dollars.

That people with AS can't look you in the eye, shake your hand and confidently introduce themselves.

That everyone with AS is shy.

- We can't have/maintain relationships
- We all wish we could "fit in" (reference to the puzzle piece logo for Autism)

How about "we have trouble socializing?"

Seriously, NTs would have trouble too if everyone around them had a different neurological wiring.

That stims are nervous tics. THEY AREN'T.

Autistic people are nerds (Even nerds have social skills, and they are regarded as 'smart' by NT's)

+1, there is a lot of misunderstanding (among people with ASD almost as much as anyone else) of lack of empathy and theory of mind.

Wait....how is "have trouble socializing" a myth? Isn't it part of the diagnostic criteria? How can you get an Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis if you have no trouble socializing?

yeah idiots all " normal" three year old walk around with watches lol

That no concept of time was true for my daughter.. i think she only learnt time once she went to high school.. before that that she used to confuse, today with yesterday, or yesterday to tomorrow.. and all her hrs. She really had big issues with time..

She was also not aware of time if playing or how much had passed.

We all flap our hands and walk in lines and circles and count toothpicks (I don't even think about doing this, you can thank Hollywood for manipulating people as usual)
We are all unemployed overweight losers who watch cartoons and play video games all day (there are examples to the contrary, Google 'em)
We are all truly caring people who would never dare say a bad thing (we're still human)
We are not capable of sophisticated thought (which is a load of crap, go to PPR and find out for yourself)
We are not creative or imaginative in any way (if what is said about the creator of Pokemon is true, then that's crap as well)
