Am I alone in seeing no malice in this? If anything it reads like reassurance. CockneyRebel's post in the other thread was maybe a little insensitive, but wasn't the only post from someone who seemed to understand the motives of the OP in that thread.

I don't care enough about anyone else's opinions to be offended by them. If their world view is incompatible with my own, that is something that we all have to learn to accept. Why would CockneyRebel's views be any different? A thread was made asking for honest feedback, honest feedback was given. I don't see the problem here.

So far, none of this thread matters to me at all.

I just thought I'd mention that.

It seems to be important that we do so.

Unlike you....i'm not going to speak for anyone else in this group. Since you're so interested in honesty however, i've had you pegged as a snarky and mean-spirited little creep not long after you showed up on WP. Many of your posts on this thread reinforce that perception. Frankly your seeming popularity with many members here has always mystified me.



I don't even know what Cockney Rebel did. Regardless of whether she did something which would warrant an apology or not... I don't care what she did either.

Not that I don't care about her...she seems like a terrific person and no matter what...we all make mistakes. I just don't care about petty incidents which don't involve me whatsoever.

CockenyRebel, I don't think I was offended, I wasn't there when I read the thread, we all made our mistakes and you don't normally say things to upset people, your one of the most unique members here, don't let anything bug you in the future and everyone is entitled to their opinions.

It's a public forum that is viewed and posted on from people with different backgrounds, cultures, experiences, etc. At some point somebody is going to be offended by something you say. I believe what Ferdinand was trying to say is that you should not allow it to affect you when you state your viewpoint and somebody finds fault with it.

I completely agree with that reasoning, and I honestly do not think that Ferdinand's intention was to upset or offend you. As for posting in peace, you certainly do not need my permission to speak your mind. But for what it may be worth, you have my full support whenever doing so.

Cockney, I read that thread, and your hardly said anything offensive, you meant well, and please ignore anything that mean
