I have a question for you all. Although I am not sure that it relates to Autism, I'm still curious. Say you are watching a show. A really, really horrible show. You are half way through, and are pretty sure that it sucks. Do you turn it off out of frustration, or stay for the old maxim, "In for a penny in for a pound"? Will you endure something you dislike only because you already had it partially done? I for one would. I'm not sure why, but I cannot turn something off or look away once I have seen something that disgusts me.

I turn it off, or just don't watch it in the first place if I'm sure I won't like it. f I think it'll get better or I'm watching it because I think it's important for me to or something, then I'll keep watching, but otherwise I just turn it off. Why continuing to watch something I find unenjoyable?

Yeah, it happens to me too. Recently I rented the "Phantom of the Opera" DVD, it was one of the most horrible experiences I have endured, but still, I couldn't turn it off, I had to watch it till the end. I don't know, maybe it's curiosity, I just need to know how it ends. It happens to me with forums too, once i'm obsessed with one I have to read every single thread, every post... it destroys my productivity...

I finish, because you never know if the end will be really cool. I rarely don't finish something.
