I'm not actually even sure if that's politically correct for me, an NT, to say.. is it? Anyway, for one I'm in love with an aspie and when I've read more about AS, I realized it kinda caused most of the traits that got me attracted in the first place and then drawn, which makes me all the more now want to get to know the heart behind the AS. Then joining this site, I kinda enjoy talking to those I've already talked with, I love the honesty, the ideas, the intelligence, the thoughts/concerns, though it makes me feel stupid and very self conscious in some way sometimes but that's okay, its welcome.. Like if being in a wrong planet; i think i kinda like yours.. is it weird? is there anything wrong with that? I hope I didn't say anything wrong or offensive.. did I? Sorry if I did.. So why do you think this is?

Nothing wrong with that at all, I don't see why we'd be offended at you liking us :P

It's okay to like us. Nay; inevitable. Especially me.

awww thank you! :) i just still don't exactly understand the nature of the term "aspie", like it might be offensive like a label or like a racist remark.. and when i say "i like people with AS", i'm afraid to be misunderstood that i want you guys to have your AS and all that you don't like about it.. Ugh! I really can't explain it, I just like how people with AS are.. You guys are very cool! I think I kinda have that inner aspie as I'd like to think.. I even took an AS Dx test lol! because I could really relate or something like that..

Some of us can be quite irritating. So if I get on your nerves, it's me not you.

I can even get on my own nerves. And then it's "you" and me at the same time.

Yeah, I know that one wasn't funny. :P

:) i've read of some, luckily haven't come across one yet.. but it's okay i could get annoying too hehe.. its just also me not you.. :D i think in the spectrum, im way far in the other end of AS but went beyond NT that's why I could relate and also suffer the other difficulties an aspie have socially.. so aspies kinda balance or centers me, or corrects me, kinda.. its very hard to explain too.. anyway i do hope to learn to be a very good friend to people with AS or whatever planet, i think i even have my own.. :D

welcome :)
is that a picture of your real smile? wish i could do one like that
if i snap at you past 11 pm ignore me....
aspie isn't offensive....some people don't like the word, i think we had a thread....what i personally can't stand is the expression "to have autism"....i don't have it, it's a part of me! but you say what you want, freedom of speech!
see you later :)

That's rather refreshing actually. Welcome to WrongPlanet!

On the language question, the one label that bugs the heck out of me is "person with autism/AS". It reeks of PC and Autism Speaks.

Your over concern for offending someone is amusing amongst an audience who often offend people without realizing it.
