I allways have the same when I'm late, or when i'm about to be late by another person. I get hugeley frustrated and angry at that person/object.

The best way to deal with it is, indeed, walk. No matter how far it is, it realy puts your mind at ease if you are doing it yourself.

What I think is pathetic is anyonw who hurts others for their own amusement, gain, or gratification...

About your alarm, see if you can get a new one. Find what it is that wakes you up. For me, it's light. My alarm worked, for two weeks, then every time it went off, I kept hearing it my sleep, and ignoring it because I was so far in. Though, when my roommate yelled at me about it... If it's a radio alarm, see if you can set it to really upbeat music, or energising music. Or, if it's a BEEP or BUZZ variety, make it loud enough to get you up but quiet enough to save your hearing. If there is a music or noise you ABSOLUTELY HATE or if you keep hitting snooze and rolling over again, keep the alarm close, but out of reach, so you actually have to get out of bed to shut it up. Beware with the last method, it tends to drive people BATTY in the AM hours. If you can't get a new one, try going to bed earlier... doesn't usually work, but if you can reset your sleep schedule so you wake up in the early AM naturally, then it may make an alarm clock unessesary. One last thing... I discovered my TV had a wake up timer, so it would turn on. Light, noise... it definetly worked for me. Just don't lose the remote...

My ADD friend used to be hours late.. I never understood why, I'm not ADD.. Its like I wanted to slam a clock into his face and say '8 oclock, not 10:58!! !'

So ya, I used to get brutally frustrated.. Eventually, I treated people that way they treated me so intead of being ready and at the door when they pulled in my driveway, I just sit in the basement playing video games.. Sometimes, I'd be purposely late so they could see how it felt. Sometimes I felt it was just negligence (outside of the ADD example). One guy would just watch t.v. It used to piss me off so one day, I arrived 1.5 hours late and he was upset. He was oblivious, in his mind, he is always within a respectable amount of time. Reality was different

Yes, being late blows

Try getting a clock radio alarm. Alarms never used to wake me up after a while. ALSO, try going to bed earlier, and or telling yourself to wakeup earlier just before you fall asleep.

NO, you aren't pathetic. BTW, try learning the way to school, and walking sometime.

Only if we can add "people who hurt puppies".

Sre you guys crazy? Walk? First of all how far is she away from the school? If its a few blocks, ok ay but few miles or like 8 or 2, no way, who would want to walk that far on their legs. You know how long it takes me to walk 2 miles? about an hour. I know because I've done it on my parents treadmill when I still lived with them. Imagine walking an hour in the cold.

You ARE right. Still, I used to walk FOUR miles to school. Then again, I could almost WALK subconciously, and I often had a lot to think about. Still, maybe I would have been better off if I didn't lose like 2 hours a day. I WAS in Southern California, so rain was about the only real problem
