Ummmmm... where to start.

You have an all-or-nothing attitude (Black/White - typical in Aspies and very bad for being happy on this planet)
you say you don't need friends, sh** upon everyone and then wonder why people don't like you (which one is it?)

Determination is an attitude that takes you to a place of reason by setting real, achievable goals without stepping on people and then taking consistent action to acheive those goals

Being an a$$hat is setting unrealistic goals, talking about going somewhere instead of doing that thing (pissing people off because your mouth is going faster than your actions) stepping on whomever you have to in order to get to your goal, etc...

Let your actions speak for your determination.

Just becuase I don't want friends dosen't mean I want to be bullied. I have no idea where to start and aparently no one wants to help me get started either. I was trying to find a vet to shadow but just kept running into dead ends.

If you want respect... show respect...

It really is quite simple. You need to start with some CBT around your Black/White thinking. THAT is the thing that alienated me the most when I was younger. Made a HUGE difference when I emerged from that.

Some people will talk trash to you just because it makes you react. They are basically bullies looking for a target. It isn't even about you. It's about them getting their rocks off by making others dance to their twisted music.

My parents tried CBT for my black/white thinking in the past. It didn't help.

Of course it didn't help. I'm beginning to think you are beyond help because pretty much everything anyone has said when you are asking around here for help you have rejected. If you don't want to change you won't. I'm almost inclined to say you like stirring up trouble with your woe is me I'm better than everyone else attitude.

When you learn to respect and accept other people and their opinions (including on what they think you are doing wrong) they'll probably treat you the same.

One of them even went as far as saying that murdering me would be considered a mercy killing. Aparently none of them realise there is no age limit for vet school. What did I ever do that pissed them off so much?

*shrugs*. They should be supportive of you and tell you you can get there if you work hard and make good grades!

What is CBT? I ask because I also have the problem of seeing things as black or white. The concept of shades of grey is understood but I have never been able to do it and I really need to do so because I have been extremely hard on myself recently. It's nothing new but now it's really annoying.

It didn't help because the "therapists" were more forceful than helpful and suggested my parents take away my special intrests. I asked for an answer to a question, not help. Thank you very much.

I think it is an ackronym for Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

My mother used to tell me that telling a kid to try their best and if they worked hard enough sometimes dreams were not obtainable and not everyone was meant to be astronauts and nerologists. I think my mother just has a phobia of failure and is subconciously projecting it onto me.

Oh wow people, don't hold back.

I like Punky's straight forward attitude and I've read that forum before. Those people are trolls. They're the type of people that will use personal attacks. They're the lowest of the low.

There's actually people in this thread that have said some pretty offensive things and not just in this thread.

Punky I think you need to find another forum for your special interest. The people in there seem like douche bags. I used to go to a music forum where people were like that. It's really hard to find a forum with decent people because the majority are like that.

Thanks! I'm pretty much immune to cyber bullies these days. Yes, I found Leaque Girl and Pistonhead's comments rather on the mean side.

I was never on that "Catfight" forum but it's part of The My Little Pony Arena which I was on and had no idea of the catfight fourms. It was made because bullying in any way shape or fourm isn't acceptable there so they made up one where it was acceptable. I was on there because MLP's are one of my special intrests (well at least customising them is). I was on a Lion King forum once and got bullied there as well simply for being diffrent and for being too obsessed with Lion King. It's impossible to find a fourm where I won't get bullied for being diffrent. Even on fourms where being diffrent is the norm, I get bullied or at least harassed.

You asked us a question and we answered it honestly. Did you not want an honest answer? Was there an answer you wanted to hear? Sorry you didn't like our answers. Asking this sort of question is going to bring you answers you might not want to hear.

I'm still oversensitive to bullies.
Bullied on A Lion King forum? I was into that when I was 9.
Actually I've been on a Ben 10 forum and it was full of trollish 20 year olds.
It makes no sense to me. I even find on support forums like this people start personally attacking one another.

She asked a very specific question, "What is it about me that pisses people off so much?" and thus people answered. That is support. If she wanted better support she should have asked something that would have actually helped.

The problem here is that someone only wants advice that agrees with them. 24 and still in high school? I would be seriously worried about the kids there. They make adult education classes and GED for a reason...

I've told you my opinion on the question you asked but have a question RE the whole Vet thing.

What specifically is your plan to obtain the status of Vet?
Are you in college now working towards it?
