I heard the song...then I thought about you.

You would give the horse a name.

Not a girl, but loved the Powerpuff Girls.

There was an episode with Mojo Jojo coming down from his lair to get something in town that was one of the best representations of auditory hypersensitivity that I have ever seen.

I liked the mayor and his secretary and many of the villains and generally enjoyed the silly jokes set around the city of townsville. I enjoyed the character of HIM...

It seems to me that in the late 1990s this was an extremely popular show. I suspect all sorts of neurotypes liked it or did not according to their personal preferences. It's certain that it was very popular among NTs.

It's a cool song. Thank you for thinking of me. I would definitely give him a name. I was thinking Keiran if he was a black horse.

You should read Gulliver's Travels, Skibum.

There's a section where the horses are the smart ones, and the humans are "yahoos."

Umm, last I checked, one girl ≠ all, or even most, girls.

For the record, I detested them thoroughly.

Blanket statements/assumptions are one of the most irritating things on this planet.

I agree.

And by the way, my NT cousin loved the Power Puff Girls from when she was 7 to about 12. And no it wasn't because all her friends liked it. She just liked it because she liked it. I was never into it though.

I will. I have not read that book since it was read to me when I was very little. I remember dad reading it to us. He really liked it. I will have to definitely read it. :D

It's not really a kid's book, by the way.

It's an adult-level satire.

A lot of those books we hold dear are actually adult level satire wrapped in stories that kids can love.

Flatland, Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, etc. etc.

Those guys knew how to skewer things in a very intelligent way.

I love the powerpuff girls! I always had fantasies about being a super hero so that might be why, at least in my case.

Girls in general love Powerpuff girls. So why should autistic girls be any different?
