Only when re-enacting my favourite TV shows, and even then I didn't do more than a couple of lines, straight from the original show. I don't recall initiating much, either. I did notice the kid next door was heavily into performing quite long stuff with his chums, they'd be playing battle games and he'd keep barking out new directions. I didn't join in much. The few games I played with other kids were one-on-one, and they'd usually centre around some new toy or other. Most toys were based on TV shows anyway. We played at DJs once when I'd got into tape recording and I'd got a pair of headphones......I based my act on Jimmy Saville (he was a DJ on Radio Luxembourg in those days). That was probably the most extensive role-play I did, and I was nearing my teens by that time.
