Why are people talking about Jack in the box and In-n-Out? Rally's > any fast food burger you can think of, and that is not opinion my friends, that is a fact. Jack in the Box is a horrid wad of grease wrapped between 2 buns, In-n-Out is not very versatile, Carl's Jr. is Decent(not as good as rallys), Wendy's is almost as good as Rally's. Mcdonalds and BK don't even place in this competition.

If only you were a local Alex, but unfortunately I'm all the way from London so I can't really enjoy all the fun I suppose. :(

I imagine each attraction, coming in sets of two -- one for poor people, and one for rich people.

I've paid my respects to each, and am not ashamed to say that some of the rich ones deserved their reputation.

I can always come up with things I would do differently, but this makes me feel more comfortable than the openly pagan businesses, where I've enjoyed so many foreign foods.

Hit me up if you're ever in San Diego! Cross-country trips are so much fun.

They have a Christian burger chain called In N Out here, they're everywhere in Cali but none of the other states (well, some of the other states, but not many!), so be sure to check them out. They understand how to modify orders, which is good if you have sensory issues that keep you from eating a standard-issue hamburger, so I guess they're better than McDonald's. LA has a lot of cars, from what I've heard, so probably a lot of traffic, but I've yet to go there myself. San Francisco is impressive, so now you'll be nearby you should visit; I've been there a couple of times. Just beware of the weather, which makes no sense. Oh, and visit Monterey!! !
in and out? aint sounding much cristian there

It's definitely been remarked upon.

Back in the 80's, they used to give away bumper stickers - guys used to cut out the "B" and "G" in "burger" to make it "In 'n Out Urge"

It seems like every pickup truck in the state had one back in those days...

I had that sticker! And I cut it like that too. If you were a male age 16-25 in the 80s and didn't have one of those, and also a KMET sticker, you were considered weird... But of course I was weird anyway, so it didn't matter I guess. :?

Hollywood Forever cemetary is cool, they even show movies there sometime.

One of my favorite things to do is the Warner Bros VIP tour, where you get to ride around on a golf cart through the Warner Bros lot and check out anything interesting going on.

We drove to Los Angeles, CA from Charlottesville, VA in less than 48 hours. That has got to be some sort of record. Unfortunately it was much colder and much cloudier in Los Angeles than it was in Virginia when we left.
